Cowbell Creek located at 390 Austinville Road, Austinville 4213 (just behind Mudgeeraba on the Gold Coast).

How long has Cowbell Creek been operating?

As our families dairy farm since 1947, as a wedding venue since 2017.

How long do brides normally book in advance?

Peak dates around 18 months in advance but there are always a few dates floating around for last minute couples.

How many guests does Cowbell Creek cater for?

From 50 - 120

Do you have a wet weather back up plan?

Yes, we have a purpose built wet weather ceremony area and a wet weather plan for ensuring we still get to our key photographic areas.

What is the most unique way a bride and groom have ever arrived to Cowbell Creek?

Helicopter but this is becoming more popular.

Do you have any vendors you love working with, we would love to know?

We have 4-6 companies in photography (Feather & Finch is one of them), catering and entertainment that we love to work with and that give our couples great value and most importantly professionalism. Once our couples have booked we find out what they like and give our best recommendations in each category but couples can choose anyone they want and we are open to working with new suppliers (as long as they have the appropriate accreditation).

If you could choose would you suggest winter, summer autumn or spring to be married?

We are situated in the middle of 200 acres of hills and farmland each season has different look and feel, if you like bright green backdrops then November to June will work for you if you like a mix of green and golden hues then July to October. We have air conditioning and fireplaces so year round comfort is not an issue but most brides have a clear preference between the warm and cold seasons.

What was one of the craziest weddings you have had?

Not too many crazy weddings at Cowbell Creek but the best ones are definitely the ones where every detail has been considered and the guests and the couple can relax and enjoy themselves confident that we are taking care of everything as planned

Couples who love the great outdoors and animals but also appreciate being taken care of by experienced professionals in a refined and relaxed setting.

If you could share one piece of advice for anyone interested in Cowbell Creek what would it be?

Only book a venue if you love it and you feel you can rely on the team running it.
