As we sit here, reflecting on everything that 2024 has given us, we can’t help but feel overwhelmingly grateful. Grateful for the people, the places, the raw emotions, and the stories we’ve had the privilege to capture. This year wasn’t just about photographing weddings or sessions; it was about connection. It was about being invited into your world – a front-row seat to some of the most beautiful, genuine, and fleeting moments of your lives.
The hugs. The happy tears. The laughter that echoed for hours. The quiet glances that said more than words ever could.
These are the things that matter. And these are the things we live to capture.
The Stories That Made Our Year
2024 was a whirlwind, filled with memories that will stick with us for years to come. The kind of memories that remind us why we do what we do.
The sunrise ceremony on the coast where the waves crashed softly and the sky turned a watercolor palette as two people promised forever. It felt like the whole world paused to celebrate.
The backyard wedding with fairy lights and homemade everything – a day full of love, laughter, and people who made it feel like magic.
The unexpected downpour that turned a wedding day into a dance-in-the-rain moment. No one cared about wet hair or muddy shoes; they cared about being there, present, and full of joy. The photos? Pure gold.
The quiet elopement in the mountains where we hiked to the perfect spot, surrounded by nothing but nature and promises whispered on the wind.
These moments, and so many others, are etched into our hearts. Every couple, every family, every person we’ve worked with this year has brought something so real and so uniquely them to our lives.
It’s About the Little Things
One of our favorite parts of this year was capturing the moments you didn’t know were happening. The hand squeezes. The tears just before you walked down the aisle. The toddler who refused to leave the dance floor. The grandparents who held each other close during a slow song.
Those little in-between moments? They’re everything. They’re the magic that you’ll look back on years from now and feel all over again.
