Gabbinbar Homestead Wedding Venue
Cat and Charlie knew they’d struck gold when they found the historic Gabbinbar Homestead as the venue for their recent wedding.
There’s something quite timeless about venues like Gabbinbar Homestead, in the garden city of Toowoomba, on the Gold Coast. For 148 years, this place was the private home of governors of Queensland. In 2012, the homestead began hosting weddings, offering a magnificent estate for breathtaking weddings.
Each and every detail was taken care of, and it was an absolute delight and privilege to be asked to photograph this couple’s wedding day. The blue skies and dusky evening created a truly magical setting for my images. Cat looked absolutely radiant in her off-the-shoulder gown, and her groom Charlie looked just the part in his sandy chinos, blue jacket and bow tie.
Set in mature woodlands, the timeless theme was continued with some great secluded spots for photographs and magic moments. The day was brimming with elegance, romance and sophistication. The Gold Coast has plenty of wedding venues to choose from, and this one certainly hit the spot for Cat and Charlie. Their set of photographs will stand the test of time, that’s for sure.
